In July 1989, United Christian Ministries (UCM) opened its doors thanks to local church leaders who joined efforts to create a ministry for emergency basic needs assistance.
This year we are celebrating 35 years of service in Pickens County & the Powdersville area!
Last year we provided $43,197.62 of rental assistance to 116 families, $49,259.14 of utility assistance to 274 families, over $18,000 of food for 8,083 individuals and $500 for clothing assistance.
