Pantry
Food assistance for each household is provided once a month. UCM provides a designed combination of food items that supply each person in the home. Depending on donations from he community, we aim to provide 3 meals per day for a 3 day period. This method of addressing food insecurity and hunger provided food for 8,083 individuals (3,283 families) in 2023.
As part of our emergency food assistance services, UCM participates in The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Clients whose monthly gross income is below the 150th% Federal Poverty Level can receive these commodities along with their regular order of pantry food.
Boost & Ensure
Nutritional supplements, such as Boost or Ensure, are provided to persons who cannot tolerate a regular diet. Qualifying recipients may be provided a case of supplement once a month with a valid doctor's note that must be updated every 6 months.
